Can’t Colonize the Vibe — Blog & Editorial Platform
Founder & Creative Director
2025–present
I created the Can’t Colonize the Vibe blog as an editorial platform documenting Philadelphia’s independent music scene and the strategic decisions artists make when releasing new music. Each feature gives artists visibility while offering peers insight into sustainable practices. To extend reach, I pair each blog with designed Instagram carousels and collaboration posts — leveraging artists’ audiences to amplify the platform and strengthen relationships across the city. This approach has positioned me as a cultural voice, leader, and curator within Philadelphia’s music ecosystem, while establishing Can’t Colonize the Vibe as both a storytelling outlet and a resource for artist strategy.
Core Themes:
Editorial storytelling for independent musicians
Strategic analysis of artist rollouts
Integration of blog content with Instagram carousels
Collaboration posts as growth and relationship-building tools
Scope of Work:

Research and analysis of artist strategies
Artist interviews and in-person networking at shows
Writing and narrative framing for weekly features
Visual design and production of carousels
